Howdy from Galway!
Hello everyone! Yes, it has been awhile since I wrote, sadly there has been a lack of available computers. And alas, tomorrow morning we leave for Inis Mor in the Aran islands, and I don't think there's a computer at our hostel. So, so far we have been to Dublin, Kilkenny, Cork, Killarney, Lisdoonvarna, and Galway. With a few side trips here and there. Sorry about the lack of pictures, but, lack of computers is the problem. My times almost up on the computer, so i'll have to write some more later. TTYL!

Hi from Cork!
Hey everyone, how's it going? We had beautiful weather here in Cork yesterday, I wore my shorts out. Finally got a chance to do our laundry yesterday! It went all right, it cost us 10 euro to do it all (we put our stuff together). It was so nice to have clean clothing again. We met a bunch of other Canadian girls yesterday here at the hostel. Danielle and Shannon were from Vancouver (LOL, they're actually taking criminology at SFU, and before that they went to Douglas College, and no they don't know Chris, they're in their third year.) And Ashley, a girl from Toronto. We all went out to a dance club last night. On the way to the club, we ran into two Batman's, Robin, and a gian Banana guy, LOL, really weird. The dance club was really fun, it was called Gorby's, they played a lot of old Americn music, and some new stuff and techno. I could have lived without the techno, but we had a lot of fun dancing all night. Before we went out we played sociables with the girls, and wound up talking to a bunch of Irish guys who were playing poker on the other side of the dining room. LOL, it was funny, we could have stayed home and watched Fridays without Borders LOL, Ashley and Shannon wound up making out with these guys on the dance floor most of the night, although Ashley's version of making out was a little more explicit, LOL! Then we walked back to our hostel, man was their ever huge crowds out last night! The Garda were out in force, but don't worry, nobody got arrested! LOL! Although for a while it was close, JK! Ashely did keep telling everyone they had nice pants though, LOL! As we were crossing back over the bridge to get back to our hostel, we were treated to not only the beautiful view of the water in the moonlight, and the mist in the early hour of the morning, but a guy our age woofin his cookies over the side! LOL! At leaast he was polite and didn't puke all over the sidewalk! Anyway, i'm going to let you go now, we're off to visit Blarney Castle, and kiss the Blarney Stone today! Then it's off to a pub for supper!

CORK!!! AKA The Blarney Stone!
Hey all, just writing to let you know we're still alive, LOL! Yes, I know, Kilkenny didn't really get it's own post, the hostel didn't have computers. So, we're in Cork now (if you couldn't tell, LOL). It's very hilly, a lot like Prince Rupert (and of course the hostel is at the top of one of these hills, great fun). We're going to see Blarney Castle either tomorrow or the next day, and then it's on to Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. Well, we're almost out of time on the computer, so I'll let you go for now, and maybe i'll write something later.
ps: there mayu be no picture uploads for a bit, nowhere to plug in on these computers.

DUBLIN DAY 4!!!
Hey everyone! How's it going? More pictures will be uploaded hopefully later today, both to facebook and here. I've just been having problems with the hostel computers being slow, we'll stop in at an internet cafe later. Well, we've been having lots of fun. We went on the Viking splash tour yesterday. Lots of fun! Unfortunately it was raining so we got a little chilly but not too bad. Oh, did I mention the cute boys we hung out with from Nebraska... We went out to the pub with them on wednesday night and watched the Chelsea/ Manchester United game. Had our first pints of Guiness (i have to admit i didn't finish mine, i gave the rest to the guys. It's just that aftertaste...ewwww) Their names were Shane, James, and Drew. Shane and James were both in the army (don't worry mom, we were protected wandering the streets of Dublin at night) LOL! I think James has the hots for Chelsea (Chelsea and James sitting in a tree....) LOL! Anyway, we had lots of fun playing cards and going to the pub with them, unfortunately they had to leave yesterday morning :-( but there may have been exchanges of e-mails... We also went to see St. Stephen's Green (you'll be seeing lots of pictures of this!), St. Patrick's Cathedral, the National Museum, and the National Library (a Yeats exhibit). Had loads of fun touring around. Today, we're going to see Dublin Castle and the Chester Beatty Library, as well as the Writer's Museum and the Gaol. Tomorrow we're going on a day tour called the Celtic Experience, we're going to the Hill of Tara, and some other ancient ruins. But, i'm going to let you go now, time to start some more exploring!
